The Committee are the trustees of the Charity and meet regularly to manage the policies, finances and activities of the Charity

The committee urgently needs a Vice-chair to work closely with the Chair and
stand in for him when he is not able to attend meetings or events.  This is not
anticipated to be a frequent happening but the Vice-chair is an integral part of
the committee who will attend committee meetings and involve him/herself with
the smooth running of Horsham u3a.  It is not a requirement of the job that the
Vice-chair automatically becomes Chair if the Chair steps down.

The committee is also missing a Social Co-ordinator.  This person will attend
committee meetings and could work with a fellow-member or partner to offer
opportunities for members to get together on, for example, day-trips out once or
twice a year and also, if demand is there, to organise a short break.

The committee is a friendly bunch who work well together and you will be
