Independent Visitor Scheme
West Sussex County Council are seeking volunteers to visit children and young people in care by becoming Independent Visitors.
Many children in care have limited contact with their birth families or would benefit from having a trusted adult outside the professional network involved in their lives. Independent Visitors provide friendship , encouragement and consistency through regular visits, helping young people build confidence, resilience and positive life experiences.
For more information, see the WSCC web site https://www.westsussex.gov.uk/education-children-and-families/adoption-fostering-and-kinship-care/independent-visitor-scheme/
